In the mailbox and in print:

Today I received an envelope with Jillian Tamaki's mini-comic Dive! The Ministry of Finance also sent me a copy of the folder I illustrated two years ago... I'm not enthralled by the jacket but I still like the freaky legs of the last runner:


Ful is in stores now! This is a jacket that suits me better (and enthralling is a good definition of it).

During the presidential transition in the US, the Opinion section is publishing a series of Op-Ed articles by experts on the challenges facing Barack Obama when he takes office. I made spot illustrations and here are some drafts. Published in the NY Times today!

I heart NY

After a fruitful stay in New York I'll be represented in the US by a well reputed agent and hopefully The New York Times will be a regular client. A small illustration for a book review is already in and now I'm sweating over some spot illustrations that are to be ready today and published in late Dec. Sketches and finals will be up later on...
